All invited to media training, practice interviews May 1 in Davis

Hone your media relations skills with the UC ANR Strategic Communications team! 

Intended for UC ANR academics and staff who work with journalists, this interactive training covers tips on working with the news media, engaging reporters and influencers via social channels, and preparing for and doing interviews in a variety of formats.

There will also be a valuable opportunity to practice interviewing in front of a video camera.

Presenters are Pam Kan-Rice, assistant director of News & Information Outreach, and Mike Hsu, senior public information representative.

Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Location: UC ANR Second Street Building (San Joaquin Valley Room) in Davis

11:30 a.m. to Noon – Lunch (provided) 

Noon to 2 p.m. – On-Camera Practice Interviews

This workshop is limited to 25 participants, so register soon. Some travel funds are available. Please indicate when you register if you need financial assistance for travel to Davis.
