"Eat, Excrete, & Die: Regulation of Homeostatic Behaviors and Aging in Drosophila." That's the title of the Jan.

The Bohart Museum of Entomology recently hosted an evening open house to engage and inform UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology biologists on how to streamline their efforts at all stages of their research, from collecting insects and arachnids to using the Bohart specimens.

Social wasp expert Lynn Kimsey, UC Davis distinguished professor of entomology and director of the Bohart Museum of Entomology, will be featured at the next Bohart open house, set for 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 20, in Room 1124 of the Academic Surge Building, 455 Crocker Lane, UC Davis campus.

Plans are underway for the 13th annual UC Davis Biodiversity Museum Day, a free "Super Science Day" for the public to observe science in action, and meet the scientists one-on-one. The event, set for Saturday, Feb.
