Orchids! That exquisite corsage flower that most people seem to think takes an expert to grow them and a greenhouse to grow them in!

Surprisingly enough, orchids can be rather resilient. This week on In the Garden with UC Master Gardeners, you'll learn what it takes to grow epiphytic or terrestrial orchids on your own and maintain those beautiful gift orchids.
KUCI staff host and Master Gardener Sally Richards talks to Fred Clarke, owner of Sunset Valley Orchids in Vista, CA. His 28 years of experience in orchid breeding (yes, breeding in a sterile environment!), judging, and as an all-around enthusiast will come to life in this one-hour segment.
Basically, all it takes is the right water, light, and temperature considerations to be successful. Tune into the show for a lot of laughs and tons of information!
