Learn the basics of dish gardening while creating your own little space. Build a home for a fairy, a dinosaur, or make roads to explore in your own little trucks.

Hands on Workshop to teach attendees how to safely pressure can salmon and vegetable stock. We will cover the fundamentals of pressure canning, including why certain foods must be pressure canned vs boiling water canned.

NEW for the 2024-2025 program year, volunteers will be trained on the 4-H Thriving Model and this kickoff event covers several topics designed to enhance your role as a project leader.

Condiments make the world go round. BBQ sauces, hot sauces, sweet and sour sauces, Asian condiments. We will teach boiling water canning including waterbath and atmospheric steam canning while sharing fun condiment recipes. Take them home and fill your pantry with the condiments your family loves.

In this Make and Take workshop you will learn how to make Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese in time to use it for your lasagna dinner. It is a quick and easy process once you understand the basics.

Join us to learn how to make your home more fire-resilient to wildfire and meet State and County laws and regulations. You will learn the key concepts for hardening your home and other structures, and how to create defensible space around them.
