Winter Pruning Deciduous Trees, Nancy Brown, February 7, 2024 The Marin Master Gardeners invite the Napa Master Gardeners and members of the public to attend a lecture on Winter Pruning Deciduous Trees, taught by Nancy Brown, a professional aesthetic pruner and an experienced lecturer.

Historic Fuller Park is an arboretum of many exotic and native trees that have been planted over the last 120 years. Please join a UC Master Gardener on a 1 1/2 hour guided walk through the park to discover some of the many exotic and native trees along with park history.

Come get your hands dirty in this hands-on vegetable growing workshop offered by UC Napa County Master Gardeners. Learn what to plant now and later when the weather gets hot. Soil prep, irrigation, seed-starting, transplants and potential problems: well cover it all.

Join us in the garden to learn about caring for California Native plants as they prepare for their late summer dip into dormancy. Master Gardeners will share their experience with a hands-on learning opportunity.

Learn about composting in your backyard, hot composting, cool composting, or worm compostingchoose your own adventure. After concluding the workshop, those taking the backyard portion may purchase a discounted compost bin for $20.00 (One bin per household).
