Come join us for a morning of outdoor fun at the Monarch Nature Trail in Huntington Beach! Volunteering at the MNT is a great way to learn more about Orange County's butterfly population as well as the native plants they depend on for survival.

Home grown tomatoes are the best, and easier to grow than you think. Whether you are a novice or a pro, this class will provide lots of information: How to plant from seed, how to transplant, care and maintenance, and recommendations on varieties of tomatoes.

Representatives of the Master Gardeners of Orange County will be on hand to discuss this weeks topic, Success with Succulents - Plant Give Away - Come meet the MGOC and get your free plant. We also answer gardening questions and explain the benefits of native plants in your local garden.

UC Master Gardener of Orange County will have an information booth with a focus on growing cool season vegetables. There is an $5 entry fee for the gardens.

What is a Pass Down Plant? It is a plant shared from other gardens or gardeners. Learn how to share safely including propagation of perennials, bulbs, seeds, and succulents.

Grow your own salad in one compact place. UC Master Gardeners of Orange County will provide information on how to plant a salad bowl garden, covering the varieties of greens, the basics of gardening, and care and harvesting.

Come see the Master Food Preservers of Orange County! We will be at the Orange County Fair Friday July 19th - Sunday August 18. Wednesday through Sunday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
