The Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) Alliance is an informal group of UC ANR personnel who have self-identified as being committed to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within UC Cooperative Extension. The group currently includes five subcommittees established to build structure, transparency, and opportunity for broad participation in this work. Subcommittees include coordination & outreach, learning, evaluation, policy, and workforce diversification.
The DEI Alliance meets monthly via Zoom to discuss emerging issues, engage in group reflection, and provide updates on projects. Subcommittees typically meet biweekly. DEI Alliance meeting links, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and work products are available on the DEI Alliance Collaborative Tools group, along with other topics related to member interest.
