This ornamental raised flowerbed demonstrates a variety of annual and perennial flowers and shrubs that do well in the Foothills.  It also shows how stacked rock can be used to create a raised bed.

Verbena tapien, which takes reflective heat, provides a colorful border.  Peonies and Clematis are new perennial additions.

The fence line flowerbed showcases plants in bloom virtually year round.  Several of the flowers are edible: e.g. hollyhock, dianthus and day lilies.
