About the Event
Join Dr. Jennifer Riddell, local biologist and member of the California Native Plant Society (Sanhedrin Chapter) to visit the beautiful wildflowers at the UC Hopland Research and Extension Center.
The hike will be around 2-3 miles, at a wildflower pace (slow to take in what we discover). We expect to see purple pastures of lupin and iris, orange bursts of California poppies and start to get to know some of the other less obvious wildflowers of the site. Meeting at the Rod Shippey Hall at 10am, the hike will finish by 12pm.
