28th Vertebrate Pest Conference - February 26 - March 1 in Rohnert Park, CA

The 28th Vertebrate Pest Conference, an educational event for discussing and exchanging information on human-wildlife conflicts, will be held February 26 – March 1, 2018 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel – Sonoma Wine Country, Rohnert Park, California.  Special symposia for this year's Conference include “Living with wolves”, “Commensal rodents”, and “Vertebrate toxicants”, with additional concurrent sessions covering numerous aspects of human-wildlife conflict resolution.  The Conference will kick off on Monday, February 26th with an optional all-day field trip covering many human-wildlife conflict topics in the region.  See the Preliminary Program for additional details on both the presentation topics, as well as the field trip details:  http://www.vpconference.org/.  Pre-registration is now open.  Varying registration levels are available including full and daily registration, as well as discounted rates for retirees and students:  http://vertebratepestconference.org/.  Hotel rooms are currently reserved at the Conference hotel, but the number is limited.  We encourage you to reserve your rooms as soon as possible to ensure the availability of the discounted Conference rate:  http://group.doubletree.com/vertebratepestconference.  For additional details, see http://www.vpconference.org/ or contact Niamh Quinn (nmquinn@ucanr.edu).  Continuing education units will be available.
