Giving New Fruit Trees the Best Start

Join UC Master Gardeners in a hands-on demonstration of fruit tree planting in our NEW Demonstration Garden.

MGs Diane Mahan and Robin Spring will discuss and demonstrate best tree placement, planting depth and wide, tree orientation, and what amendments and mulch to use. They will also answer your questions about the best care for your newly planted fruit trees.

Bring a shovel and gloves to both learn and help us get our new orchard started.
