Demonstration Garden Fall Open House

We are excited to announce our Fall Open House at the Demo Garden at the Loomis Library and Community Center October 5 from 10 am-2 pm. We are highlighting CA natives for this event. Beautiful, water wise, highly adaptable and favorites of the many pollinators that live here, CA natives belong in every garden! We will have a workshop on seed saving and planting of CA native seeds as well as a demonstration of a CA native container planting. We will be giving away one completed container planting in a drawing to be held that day. In addition, we will have information tables set up and special children's activities all centered around planting, growing and nurturing CA natives. Miridae mobil nursery will be on site that day with a selection of CA natives available for sale. Delta Blue Grass will also be on site to answer questions about their popular low-mow native grasses. This will be a fun and informative day with something for the whole family.
