Recipes and Cookbooks

Preparedness & Resiliency Cookbook 2024

Provided by a national EFNEP workgroup.  A guide for making good food choices that are healthy, tasty, quick, and safe, to promote resiliency during hardship or natural disasters. This guide provides 21 meals and 5 snacks to feed a family of 4 for 7 days. Most of the ingredients in this recipe book are based on canned, boxed, or bottled non-perishable food items, except some fresh fruits and vegetables.

 

EFNEP Favorite Recipes

A small sampling of favorite foods shared during EFNEP classes over the past 50 years. Recipes come from many of the universities operating EFNEP in each state, the District of Columbia and in six U.S. territories. This collection may remind you of a family cookbook, as several recipes include a comment or story shared by a participant or a peer educator.
