''CDFA estimates that over 93,000 metric tons of CO2e will be reduced annually, the equivalent of removing 20,000 cars from the road for one year (based on emissions reductions equivalent). Moreover, SWEEP projects will help save over 144,000 acre-ft of water annually, enough to fill over 72,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools.''

Managment Practices Elegible for Founding Through SWEEP

''CDFA has identified eligible agricultural management practices that support water conservation, improved water efficiency, improved energy efficiency, and/or reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from agricultural water distribution systems on farms.''
