2025 Small Animal Achievement Day
(Includes Pygmy Goats, Rabbits, Pigeons & Poultry)

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Fee to participate: $2 per class.

Plan to bring your own animal for the skills portion of the Achievement Test and the special activities (no poultry allowed for 2025, we will still have achievement testing for poultry members). Arrive anytime between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM if you are testing in one species. If you are testing in multiple species, plan to arrive by 9:00 AM.

Achievement Test: 4-H Members will have the opportunity to take the Poultry Achievement Test. The study guide for levels one and two can be found at

Only members will be allowed into the testing area. If the 4-H member needs assistance during the test, there will be someone present to help them. Please plan accordingly during the show day.

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) have detected cases of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in counties throughout California.

Turkey Project for the Fresno Fair
Fresno Fair Market Turkey Projects
We will be taking orders for Market Turkeys this year. Belt Hatchery requires a minimum order of 25 turkeys. You will not be able to choose the sex. Belt Hatchery may not allow me to pick up the birds, they usually ship them which could result in fatalities, so perhaps order a couple extra. The deadline for orders and payments to be received is-
